What do solicitors charge for a will?
376 SRA-regulated firms in England and Wales publish a fixed fee for a single will. The median is £260 + VAT (£312 with VAT), and the middle half of firms charge £200 to £350 + VAT. Mirror wills for a couple have a median of £400 + VAT across 315 firms, with the middle half at £300 to £545.
